God’s Blessing on Your Installation, Fr. Tomasz!
A pastor’s installation service is an important event for both the pastor and his congregation. It is a welcoming ceremony to recognize the calling of the pastor, to acknowledge his responsibilities and duties, and to celebrate a new chapter in a congregation’s life. This Sunday, February 12, 2023, Fr. Tomasz Pietrzak will formally be installed as the pastor of St. Florian Parish. Donald F. Hanchon, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Detroit will be the main celebrant of the 11 am mass and preside over the Rite of Installation.
Dear Lord,
Thank you for sending Fr. Tomasz to shepherd St. Florian Parish. Thank You for the love You put in his heart for You and Your people. May his unique set of gifts and talents enrich
his ministry and bless our parish family. Lord, use the pastor for Your glory today and the days to come. And show the parishioners how to support and encourage him. Thanking You
for this good leader, we pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.”

New Mass Schedule Beginning November 27, 2022
Beginning this Advent Sunday, November 27th, the following changes to the mass schedule will take effect.
Monday and Thursday masses at 8 am will take place in St. Florian Convent.
Sunday 9 am mass at St. Ladislaus Chapel will change to 8:30 am.
These changes will save some energy costs since the St Florian Convent will accommodate the weekday mass attendance and the Sunday morning change will allow the pastor more time to greet the attendees and still prepare for the next mass at St. Florian Church.
October – The Month of the Holy Rosary
Through out the month of October, we invite you to the rosary services, which will be celebrated in the following order: on Tuesdays in English and on Wednesdays in Polish at the convent at 6:00 p.m., on Fridays in Polish, with special participation of children and youth at 6:00 p.m. in the church of St. Florian, and on Saturdays in English at 5:00 p.m. in St. Ladislaus Chapel.
